Omega Seamaster ref. 2848 ‘beefy lugs’ patina dial

Omega first introduced their Ref. 2848 in 1954 in the international collection, this watch takes the attention due to the lovely gold capped casing with its beefy lugs. The serial number of the this watch dates it back to 1954 which makes it one of the first ones of this particular reference. The dial has obtained the most amazing chocolate patina which matches very good with the golden markers and hands. The watch houses a cal 491 automatic movement with subsecond hand. The gold capped stainless steel lugs are still in very good shape. The crown is an original Omega clover one. It has been serviced by our watchmaker and checked for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
