Omega Seamaster ref. 2848 ‘beefy lugs’

CONDITION REPORT
Omega first introduced their Ref. 2848 in 1956 in the international collection, this watch takes the attention due to the lovely stainless steel casing with its beefy lugs. The serial number of the this watch dates it back to 1956. The dial has obtained the most amazing patina which matches very good with the golden markers and hands and it has a slight hue between 2 and 4 probably due to the radium in hands and markers. The watch houses a cal 491 automatic movement with subsecond hand. The stainless steel lugs are still in very good shape. The crown is an original Omega clover one. It has been serviced by our watchmaker and checked for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
