Rolex Datejust 1601 ‘Ghost dial’

Rolex created the flagship Datejust in 1945, in celebration of the brands 40th Anniversary. The Datejust is just the perfect everyday watch. This particular reference 1601 with its white gold fluted bezel dates back to  1969. The watch has the illustrious grey ‘ghost dial’ which changes in certain lighting. Turn your wrist and the white text disappears like a ghost. The watch houses a cal 1570 automatic movement. The stainless steel casing has been polished slightly before sale. The watch has its original Rolex signed crown. It has been serviced by our watchmaker for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
