Omega Constellation 14381/2 SC-3 Pie Pan Dial

This 1959’s Omega Constellation is a true masterpiece. Straight from my personal collection ;). It has a  lovely golden pie pan dial with amazing patina, dauphine hands and arrowhead markers, just a true masterpiece. The case is 18k solid yellow gold and is in insane condition. The caseback has the typical Omega Constellation observatory and this one carries a bit of extra history: engraved on the back for Idemitsu’s 50th anniversary (Showa 36 / 1961), Idemitsu Kosan is one of Japan’s major oil companies. .The crown is the original octagonal one, very rare indeed. This particular reference 14381 is one of the earliest references using a pie pan dial this particular reference was in production from 1959 until around 1964. It houses cal 551. The movement is working flawlessly and as it should. It has been serviced and checked by our watchmaker for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
