Omega Constellation ref. 168.047 green spider dial
CONDITION REPORT
This late 1960’s Omega Constellation is one of the prettiest I have ever seen . The attention seeker on this watch is the dial, green in some lighting, black in others, it can be called a vignette dial as the green is more clear in the middel than at the borders. Another cool thing is the spider effect that the dial has gained over time. This is a sought-after vintage watch defect where the clear lacquer on the dial’s surface develops, web-like cracks over time. The caseback has the typical Omega Constellation observatory and is in pristine condition .The crown is the original Omega Singed one . The case has a typical 1970’s tv case wich wears a bit larger than usual cases. This particular watch is reference 168.047 which is a rare find and has the original bracelet which fits up to 18,5 cm wrists, let us know if you have a bigger wrist, we might have more links. The movement is working flawlessly and as it should. It has been serviced and checked by our watchmaker for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
