CONDITION REPORT
Omega first introduced their Ref. 2937 in 1956 in the international collection, with its slightly bigger case of 35,5 mm case it is the perfect dress watch for everyone who is looking for a slightly bigger watch than the usual 34mm. The serial number of the this watch dates it back to 1956 which makes it one of the first ones of this particular reference. The dial is the true attention seeker here, black dial which has aged over the years to the most amazing stardust patina, the golden ‘drops’ on the dial match very good with the golden colored dauphine hands and markers. You’ll notice that the radium lume was removed from the hands and markers, probably in an earlier service, still original hands and markers and super cool imo. The watch houses a cal 267 handwound movement. The stainless steel lugs are still very sharp and the watch still has its original crown. It has been serviced and checked by our watchmaker for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
