CONDITION REPORT
This 1973 Omega Seamaster is the perfect everyday Omega. Actually if you are looking for an everyday watch and you’re checking out the Rolex Datejust, you should definitely check this one out as well. You’ll probably recognize the case from the ref 166.010/168.024 we usually sell from the 60’s. This watch is very similar but was actually made for the Japanese domestic market, featuring the newer COSC movement cal 1011. The caseback has the typical Omega Seahorse emblem and is in pristine condition. The crown is the original Omega Singed one . It has a cool white dial and what stands out here is 2 extra lines under the ‘Omega Automatic’, this watch houses cal 1011 which is a COSC certified movement with quickset date function. This particular watch isĀ reference 166.0172 or 168.0061, this one is the latter due to the COSC movement. It is fitted on the coolest Omega bracelet, reference 1036 which fits up to 18,5cm wrists. The movement is working flawlessly and as it should. It has been serviced and checked by our watchmaker for correct accuracy and correct functioning.
